Welcome to 3rd Grade at Holy Trinity!
The students are busy learning many important concepts.  They are excited to learn how to multiply, divide, and write in cursive.  The students are using an app called Reflex to learn their multiplication and division facts.   Science has them investigating matter and motion, weather, plants and animals.  The third graders are working on many different skills to become better readers in their reading series, My View.  Religion has them taking a deeper look at their faith and the important people who fought for Jesus and the Christians.  We are all very happy and excited to be in school with our friends and teachers.

Upcoming Tests:
Are listed in your child's assignment book weekly.

Your child should be taking AR tests so that they are working toward their point goal.  Remember this is part of their reading grade.

Important Dates:

MAPS testing starting week of Jan. 13

Class Mass Dates:
2/26 - Ash Wednesday

Checking Grades:

Hopefully you have had a chance to log into your Fast Direct account and take a look at your child's grades. They are updated at least once a week. If you see an “M,” it means the student is missing an assignment. In Reading, look for the group color your child is in.  The other two colors will say your child has a missing assignment which they don't since they are not in those groups.
